How are we supposed to know what to do if he gives us absolutely no instructions?

I advise nobody to do this. I was stupid and have done it already. I have now got an ipod touch with all the features but you can't sync with iTunes. So you have wifi, contacts, and everything else but no music, pics and bids.

I not regret doing it at all. I have just spent ages saving for it and now I killed it. Less then a week old. I just can't beleive it. If any one can help please tell me, PLEASE! I have tried restoring and that does not work. I'm stuck.

You have to use iPhuc to sync the touch and put stuff on it.

Restart your computer and hard reset and it should most likely say sync to itunes on your ipod the same thing happened to me.

wait, so once you jailbreak the touch, you can no longer use iTunes to sync music, videos, etc?? If so, that's pretty lame.

Rename Mediaold to Media and your itunes will sync

    1. If you're not already there, navigate to /var/root and rename Media to Media_sym

    2. Rename Mediaold to Media. Keep the FTP and SSH windows open.

    3. Open iTunes and allow it to activate. If it doesn't recognize your iPod, reboot it and/or restart iTunes.
