This would be an awesome thing to have on my ipod, especially since i wouldn't have to go buy a 125$ one:)
is this possible? Does the ipod (1G) have the processing capabilities? If so, would someone want to make it?
I know there's the scientific calc and graphcalc, but scientific has no graphing and graphcalc sucks.

You could try PI-83 from the App Store. Best graphing calculator I've found so far.

    Does that support actual graphing?

Yes it does. You can use the Trace function and everything. It aims to be a complete replacement for the TI-83, so they've tried to get all the features of a TI-83 in there. Not the most beautiful calculator, but one of the most functional.

That's epic. I gotta go get that. Is it free?

PS- does it support TI-BASIC programming?

$0.99. And I have no idea about the TI-BASIC thing. But I don't think so.

If you are mainly interested in the plot function, I would suggest you take a look at TouchPlot. It also supports 3D plots of functions of 2 variables, projections on the xy-plane, gradient fields and a lot of other stuff. Best plot program I have found so far.

very nice i love it, missing some features of the TI-83 but they will probably come sooner or later. Also too bad there's no games like on the silver lol. Thanks!
