    ok I guess ima noob I guess I tried jail breaking my Touch, by downgrading to 1.1.1 then it happend my touch is stuck at the sliver apple screen with the loading circle thing below it I tried force restoring that doesnt seem to work so please help or should I wait till the bettery runs out??? But reallyI dont want my gf to be pissed at me the day after chritmas plz help

    Are you saying that the attempt to force-restore didn't work, or that it just does the same thing after you force-restore?

    Are you making sure to keep the Sleep/Wake+Home button held down right until it reboots and the Apple logo appears on the screen?

    Umm . The Apple screen is already there and holding down the home button doesnt work and its not being reonized by itunes

    the forced restore always works, make sure ur doing it right

    After you release the sleep/wake button you literally need to hold the home button for at least 30 seconds, it seems like forever but it does work.

    It may already be there but you have to make sure that when you hold Sleep/Wake+Hone, you hold it firmly down until the iPod reboots (screen turns black) and the Apple logo comes back on. THEN you can let go of the buttons.
