when i install something from cydia, not everything but some things i install put my device in safe mode
for example: i have just installed proswitcher and my device went into safe mode,
then if i uninstall it it still stays in safe mood, i try rebooting but still no luck.

this is the 4th time im gona have to restore cos of this anyone having same problem?

Chpwn isn't jailbroken, he can't update his apps for 4.0 so thats what probably sent it into safemode, you probably wanna stay away from infinidock and his other apps too. Also he isn't updating proswitcher, he prefers the native multitasking of 4.0.

Most apps have not been ported to 4.0 so will cause trouble

I'm not sure about multifl0w. I just checked out the site and twitter but couldn't see anything 4.0 related, you might have better luck though.

I actually prefered the UI of ProSwitcher. Shame he's not porting it.

And I was wondering if there was a "safe mode" on iOS4 yet. Thanks for letting me know.

How can you like the native multitasking over proswitcher?! It's so crummy!

Proswitcher and multifl0w they sometimes put my device into safe mode when I leave cydia in the background and then make my ipod do too many things. Get a VM to stop MOST crashes.
