This is a scam Right?

    I was selling my iPod touch on craiglist and i get this. This is a total scam right? But isnt paypal safe?

    just give him your paypal account name. if he gives you $400 for it then ship it out to him. he doesn't need to know your name or where you live...

    That's a scam! I sold my PSP on Amazon to someone and I got that same message, changed a little because it's a different system, but that's a scam man!

    Yes, that's a scam. Just about everything on Craigslist is a scam.

    I would agree with the 1st response.... give him your paypal addy but nothing else. If he sends you $400 I would make DAMN sure the money was safe and in there and probably transfer it to my checking before I shipped it. Don't give out any info other than that. I would also be veeeeeery suspicious. I had a friend almost get scammed because of the "I'm from Africa and can't type good" approach. Don't accept money orders.

    Lol, if anybody is talking that way there's a good chance that it's a scam.
