    what he means is a magic track pad with an ipod shuffle glued under it, OR, he's just mocking the new Nano.

    i think thats the route apple should have taken with the new nano and then made a smaller one with buttons but still black for the nano it would make the whole range of ipods look som much better

    Its a funny idea but it doesnt make sense that a multitouch shuffle would look like a slightly smaller iphone with no screen. Especially since if you measure the device (assuming the home button is the same size as on all of the other idevices) it still ends up being bigger than the current nano. Perhaps something like the last gen shuffle but with a touch-sensitive surface?

    The shuffle will never get a screen. Defeats the purpose. Plus people wanted their buttons back, so taking them away again is a slap in the face.

    Not to mention it looks just like a smaller iPod touch.

    lol u dont get it, im saying its like a touch shuffle, you just randomly touch around on the screen and hope for the best

    and you don't get why Apple went back to the buttons after their disappearance in the third gen. People wanted the buttons. Plus, the shuffle does what the name says. A lot use it to work out and a screen would just get all drenched in sweat.
