this cable it is possible?

    Hello,

    For my ipod i want to play it through my surround sound, now it has a white and red input, is it possible to get it for ipod that plugs into the ipod and it splits into a red and white input?

    yes, these cables are right for you purpose @sphinx1994

    they are often used on professional PA systems to connect usual devices to a mixer or sth like that - but as far as I know these adaptors are also used often at home with hifi or surround players

    Those are standard RCA stereo plugs(L&R). Go to Radio Shack get a RCA to mini-plug adapter & extention if needed like Skull Candy's FMJ come with. I play mine with Internet radio or iPod songs like that allthe time.

    i use a 3.5mm to rca adapter all the time it works great.

    Does your 3.5mm to RCA work for audio, or video too?

    Have you tried YouTube and things?
    Cause I always thought you needed a 30-pin dock to RCA to stream YouTube and video content.

    No only audio. i thought thats all the OP wanted was audio.
