    Hey,

I'm thinking about getting an iPad this summer. But what do you guys use it for? I'm 16 and have an iPhone.

I'm thinking about getting it to replace my iPod Touch. Is there an app for like taking school notes and then printing them off the PC or anything like that? Other then the notepad. And how do the 3G ones work, would it work with my cellphone company Rogers? I have an iPhone 3G from them.

Uh, it should work with Rogers.

I use my iPad all the time for web browsing, media, etc.

Haven't looked for any school note taking applications since I never take mine to school. The notes app is decent though.

I'm also considering one, but my main use would be web browsing (wifi only), the occasional movie/game, and mostly reading. I'm wondering if it's worth it over the Kindle for $200+ more, and a backlit screen (which after reading on for long periods of time might cause eye strain).

What about pages over notes? My friend uses pages but i'm not sure if you can sync it to your computer like you can with notes.

Yes, Rogers will be carrying the iPad that has 3G connectivity.

Alright perfect. Now is there a way to export Pages documents to my PC and print them off?

Yes. You can use the Pages application to write up documents and you can export them as a PDF or to Microsoft Word on your PC.

    See this for more: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4065

(Click on the "How do I share documents from Pages?" tab and you'll see three options: iWork.com, Email, Export)

    Alright thanks man,

One last question. I have an iPhone with Rogers, realize that their 3G coverage sucks.. Can't get it at my house just in town and I'm never in town. But Bell also has 3G, but it covers my whole island, from one end to the other.

When will it be possible to purchase a 3G Data Plan sole for the iPad?
