    reason for getting a macbook:

    f*** windows vista

i need an opinion or quite a few on this...

cost of my laptop last july was 630ish, here's the stats

    its an HP dv6405us

    15.4" widescreen glossy display
AMD TK-53 processor (1.7GHZ Dual Core)
    2GB RAM
    Integrated Graphics Card
    Double Layer DVD/CD burner,
    Media Card Reader
    Remote
    120GB Hard-drive
    Wi-Fi (no bluetooth)

the MacBook i was looking at

    13.3"
    2.0 GHz intel duo
    2GB RAM1
    remote
    120GB RAM
    dvd/cd combo drive
    wi-fi with bluetooth

and of course the apple warranty plan (249) and iWork (79)

and can i get a damn memory card reader with that?

    1652 total price...

so yea. thats ridiculously high priced.... should just get a damn macbook pro or macbook air for a few hundred more...

any opinions? because i'm ass-tired of vista...

why can't i just throw Leopard onto a damn "non-apple" laptop?

Lol a computer veteran knows you can download iWork at piratebay or some ******* site. For the macbook......

Yes, get it. And you know Macs can do windows too. uhh, like have windows and mac on a macbook.

Get the MacBook. Changed my computing life.

But you should get 2.2GHz rather than 2.0. Try get the highest upgrades.

    4GB RAM
    320GB HDD
Yeah, but you can change the RAM and HDD anytime compared to a processor.

let me tell u now that the macbook is a great notebook. with bootcamp it means u can now load leopard and whenever u want, go back to windows...for my first year working at apple...i was given a macbook as a first year present. since then, ive bought a pro last year, 2 imacs and a whole heap of apple products creating my apple family...this passion for mac is wat made me assitant store manager, so i think if u see someone like me with such a passion for the quality product that it apple, u best go with apple...
