Wow, I haven't been here in forever.
I broke my iPod Touch, and was without one for a year, and then got an iPhone. Never Jailbroke it. Just did. I wanted to go download some of Zod's emulators, and HOLY sh*t THEY COST MONEY. When did that happen? I was a paid beta tester back in the day. What's the deal?

I guess the point of this thread is:

How does this whole "paying for Jailbreak stuff" work? Also, what have I missed in the past year+?

As far as I'm aware, the developer sends their package to Saurik for approval for the Cydia Store, then they host it on a repository.

As far as I'm aware, you pay with paypal, and the Approval process is only to filter out malicious/misleading software.

I wish I had saved all my old apps. Now I have to pay for something I already had. That I paid for even though it was free. This is ridiculous.

Ridiculous? Ridiculous that people can charge money for products that are not permitted in the AppStore?
