I've got a thethered iPod Touch 2G, should I still make it semi-thethered and repeat the whole process of jailbreaking?

Could you restore a backup of iTunes of your ipod so it would have its apps again including cydia apps (winterboard, sbsettings, etc. from thethered ipod) or it wouldn't work?

unless your always finding yourself without your ipod because you cant boot it, then stick to tethered. Its not worth it if you dont use it.

I am either waiting for a semi tethered GUI by the Dev Team, or a non tethered jb

Tethered is much more stable. When I had semi-tethered my ipod wouldn't boot up have the time, and I made sure it was in DFU. I had to put it in Recovery and restore. Tethered us much better.

Oh ok, apparently copy pasting lines, or clicking a button for gui makes you feel smart I guess.
