I'm in recovery mode, I see the Itunes logo with the USB plug but Itunes won't recognize my ipod!

My computer surely recognize it if I can see this :
In the Device Manager only Apple Recovery (iBoot) USB Driver is there.

you need to provide more info,
casue just saying OMG my ipod is bricked!!!
    doesnt help us help you
whats were you doing before this happened?

the problem can most likely be solved by entering recovery mode and then restoring with itunes.
or you could try booting into DFU if thats not working.

Download iLiberty+ and put it in DFU mode.

You can also try unplugging your iPod and plugging it back in.

why are you still asking if you know there can't be done anything??!
Search next time. Also, when you make a new thread, it tshows related threads. Why didn't you try them.
Enter dfu. SEARCH this time as i will not repeat the 100000th time how to do it.
There are at least 25 threads like this.
And you can't brick your touch unless you want to and have the means to do this.

    Good luck!

Try installing xp pack 2 again, or try getting out of recovery mode using ibrick on an other computer.
