Ok Now that I have your attention, I figured this needed to be said. THERE IS NO DOWNGRADE. I have seen WAY to many people asking for a downgrade and how to jailbreak and all of this so lets clear it all up.

    1. THERE IS NO DOWNGRADE. The only exception is the 8GB 3G iPod touch, check the link above. So far, for the new devices Apple has made it so we can't downgrade. They implemented checking of things and they stopped signing 3.1.2. Making it impossible for anybody who accidentally updated to downgrade. And as a result,

    2. THERE IS NO JAILBREAK. Because Apple fixed the exploit in 3.1.2(the hole we used to jailbreak) we wont be able to jailbreak until A)We find a new loophole, or B)We find out how to trick Apple into letting us downgrade to 3.1.2.

To sum all this up, quit asking. Any places you find offering a 3.1.3 Jailbreak for the iPod touch 3G or a new "Dev-Team"(Probably Fa1lbreakers). It's not real. Don't download and run there program until you take a look around here even perhaps post a thread. It could really harm your iDevice/Computer.

I am sorry for the trickery. But this needed to be said so everybody didn't need to answer the question a hundred times.

Yes but I posted this in the 3G section because this is where people are looking for the jailbreak, the one that doesn't exist.

Exactly why I posted. But there not stupid. Maybe they had a friend jailbreak it for them and they had no idea what to actually do in this case. This should help clear things up.

OP: That wasn't neccesary. Despite your belief, it was completely unneccesary.

Yes, people are stupid, but this is intentionally misleading.
