is there a certain program or thing u need to code for creating apps?
its called the iPhone SDK...
And its called Objective C...
or cocoa puffs i mean touch if you know how to use it
1. you need to know c++,c, and how toolchains work
2.you need a compiler //windows=cywin linux=your goo
3.you need to download the 2.0 toolchain from cydia
4.lots of time
Sorry mate but you're wrong at some points ---
1.You need to know Objective C, not C/C++. C++ is for Windows and C...I dunno...but Mac is coded in Obj C and so is the Touch
2.You need the SDK but I think there are ToolChains for windows.
3.Not sure, sorry.
4.Yup, definitely! Please Register or Log in to view images

Just stop you guys, you're confusing him.
1. A cross compiler for your system to compile code for ARM (Toolchain)
2. A fairly decent knowledge base of Objective-C/Objective-C 2.0
Windows is the WORST system to attempt this on, it's nearly impossible.
c++ helps you understand objective-c, Its a base structure for the real deal, or else he wont get anything.....Trust me.
Gojohnnyboi started on Obj C I believe and he's still fine!
Its not impossible but fairly hard though but still...a bit of extra knowledge never hurts...Please Register or Log in to view images
i had a fair knowledge of c++ when i started, but it really doesn't apply much here.
