Cydia is SO crammed wih themes it is impossible to search an app without 50 themes cropping up with it. I propose the ThemeBrower. It is basically the free appstore of themes (but free) with pretty much the same layout as the appstore (with a bit of cydia in it

    D)

There is a featured page showing newly added themes and whats hot

There is a Top 25 themes page with star ratings and the number of weekly downloads by each theme.

There is a Search Page for looking up favourite themes.

There is also a UI tab. This contains all kinds of UIImages and UISounds in an organised way to make it much easier to see what you're installing.

Also, it will look for fresh updates to your themes and download them. there is also a manage tab to delete, reinstall and change your themes.

Furthermore, when you enter an apps page. There is a standard universal page that displays a preview, the download size, the developer, the source, a few reviews and the amount of downloads.

Addition: i also propose that it adds an extension to winterboard to allow you to organise your themes into folders. That would be VERY handy.

Could it be part of winterboard because we dont need another icon.

Also if all themes were removed from cydia that would be sweet.

that would require saurik to share source code and alter cydia, both of which he is reluctant to do.

this is actually a really good idea and a theme preview system should be added into winterboard too IMO

Ok, heres what should be done: Saurik takes themes out of cydia, and we make an app for themes that he adds to cydia, saves WONDER FUL space. then he adds the themes to winterboard.... lol. you all know that would be sweet but saurik wont do it.
