I have downloaded a couple of themes off here. Some of the themes work fully. Some of them, unfortunately the ones i really like, work on all the icons. but the wallpaper thats supposed to be there does not show. instead, the car picture that i have set for when i open my ipod to the slide screen comes up after i slide and therefore i cant read any of the text under my apps because its written in white. I was wondering why this is happening. Please help.

go into ssh from your computer
    navagate to your theme(/root/private/var/root/library/summerboard/themes/*.*)
set your wallpapers permissions to 0755 or just 755.

    also if that doesnt work

go to smbprefs and make sure wallpaper is off and theme wallpaper is on

yeah i got it to work but not because i didnt have on 755 or all that wallpaper stuff. its because when you download it, its not already ready to be put straight onto your ipod. you have to make a new folder and put the stuff that you want in it. like the wallpaper. dock icons. blah blah. then put that new folder on the ipod via ssh. thanks to smoogs12, i learned.

Trying the same and not going well

Ugh.. i tried to pt my own wallpaper in which 8gigapod gave me, but it appears that none wallapapers work on my ipod for some reason...
1.1.3 ipod fully authorize, cutsomize.app, smb ofcourse and also everything has permissions 0755.

i tried to place the picture in one of the preset themes, but it didn't work..
Ok, it's working now. i think it was te permission changing that skrewed it up, 644 or something or rather works quit fine.
but i want to put the wallpaper on the locked screen, how do i go about that?
