Note: I'm not using, advertising, or promoting this app in anyway. If mods feel like removing this thread, I am fine with that. Installing this app was simply to find a way to hinder it.

    Anti-Install!!

The first theme that targets and breaks the popular cracked app installer. By turning this theme on, the installer will no longer work, instead you will be greeted by a "Don't be a pirate" error, when you try to install anything.

    What's the point?

The point of Anti-install is for theme makers to "secretly" put this into their themes. If every theme in Cydia had Anti-Install in them, then crackers will no longer be able to use themes!

    Download!!!

Anyone just SSH and get rid of the "secret" part of the theme.

    Nice try though.

    Whats the point?

Someone would find a backdoor and it will be made redundant

Of course, this theme was to target noobs with no knowledge of SSH or theming.

And you can also put this in the Bundles and the Folders folder in your theme, for extra security.

Heh, that'd actually be pretty funny if EVERY theme creator put that in.

Many of the jailbreakers will have no idea what to do.
The ones that just 'do it' and have no idea what they're actually doing, or how it works.

So they'll come here for help and get banned for piracy.

Then we sit back and laugh out loud (lol).

I have a better idea, add something similar to legit jailbreak applications. Not themes. Some kind of code in the apps that dissable that app we need not mention and can not be just SSHed and removed.

What's it matter now anyway? The end is near for appstore pirates, 3.1 is on the way and will have them all stuck. From what I here anyway.
