These are actual messages from the programmer of the next iPhone game that will revolutionize iPhone gaming. Here is the message: Hi! First off, I just want to tell you that we are going to try out a new approach which we call Game 2.0. In short, that means that the customers, that's YOU, decide how we develop and shape the game. When we release it, it will be a full game, but also a solid foundation. We are going to put up a website that contains three things: 1. A form where you can suggest features you want (more boards, more parks, ability to customize boards, music, online park editor etc). 2. A forum where you can discuss features 3. A box where you can see all the suggested features that we think are good. You can then vote on the feature you want the most. We will select something from this list and add it to the game. And when we are done, we will select the next thing on the list and so on. In the end it'll be a game shaped by the gamers, for the gamers. And we won't spend time adding stuff nobody wants anyway. Now on to answering your questions 1. Rating? Age stuff? Suitable for everyone I guess. 2. Initially just two. But we will add more if many people want more parks. 3. Not initally. We are trying to stay below 10 Mbs. Apple has set a limit for 10 Mbs for downloadable games over Edge/3G. We might add it later though, if people want it. 4. Yup. Many will be locked at first... and some may even have special abilities... 5. And if you aren't satisfied with the game, just suggest a feature or send us some feedback in a mail. There are no pre-defined animations etc -- it is entirely physics based. We will send it to Apple next week, and then they'll review it so hopefully it'll be in the App Store a week later, approx at the end of November, We haven't set the price yet, but it'll be fairly priced. We are convinced you won't be disappointed! Cheers, Anders Here are the videos: TouchGrind Preview 1 TouchGrind Preview 2 I can't wait for the release, until then.
