Every time I turn on the iPod it is on some random time and date that keeps changing. We're talking, May 23rd one time, now it says September 2... it was fine for the first two days I had it, now it's doing this... ugh. Anyone know why?

Does your computer enter sleep or hibernate? I foudn that I had to manually shut down iTunes and reload it before connecting my touch. If I didn't the time would jump to a totally incorrect point. It only happens when I resume from hibernation.

nope, my computer is almost always on.. I havent' done ANYTHING differently and actually it changes date/time I think without being plugged into my computer. It was correct when I got it and correct for the first few days, then went kaput.

Did you ever find a resolution to the time/date changing randomly? I have only had my touch a month and it is always changing the date and time. A
