Not sure if you wanted me to comment on each step, but, you got it right. If it's working, it's working. Have you had any issues?

I would consider doing a restore and re-jailbreak. As an experiment I did several jailbreaks just to kind of see if there would be different results. I had the freezing issue once, but once I re-jailbroke, it was all good. There may be an easier fix, but I know that doing a fresh JB works. I think its a good idea to set it up as a new ipod in itunes, also, though this may not be a necessary.

    use the modded ziphone from
    http://[PIRACY.rs].com/files/100337522/moddedziphone.zip.html
then extract. (have a 1.1.4 restored ipod) then unlock it with slide button. then click jailbreak.bat in moddedziphone. type y for yes then enter and don't touch anything until you see a big itouchable.de and your ipod will restart jailbroken.

ZiPhone 2.6b is more compatible, faster, and more stable.

    100 percent correct.

I have jaibroken dozens of Ipods now for friends with Ziphone 2.6b. Other than having to run 2 commands cor custom customize, EVERYTHING works. No freezes, no patches, no nothing. Why are folks still using old versions if Ziphone?
