Hey everyone, I just heard that the SDK from apple just came out and I also found that out on www.apple.com, if you wanna check. I was just wondering, can we have it on our iPods/iPhones yet? If so, plz tell me

They released the actual developing tools for developers to use to make the applications, they didn't release anything that would allow people to download official Apple approved applications.

The firmware is basically the operating system behind the iPod touch/iPhone. Right now the latest is version 1.1.4. In June they'll release firmware version 2.0 which includes the App Store, an application that will allow you to download official Apple approved apps.

Please scroll down to the "Official Cocoa Touch" Section. There is a Sticky in that Section that you should read for all the Information you want to know.

BTW, there is an edit button for posts...

There may be a charge to get the App Store, like the january update. Also, even if you have the app store not all of the apps there will be free. Many developere will likely charge for their apps.
