I thought I would make a thread for discussions about the upcoming SDK. Now we are all very excited, and it might be just days upon us! So there are a couple discussion points to go over.

    1. Will you use the SDK development tools? Or will you not develop at all?

    2. Will you restore your iPod to ensure that no problems will occur when installing SDK apps?

    3. When do you think it will come out?

    4. Isn't this going to be f-ing awesome!?!?

Yeah there have been a couple of threads like this but i think the main thing is the dev team are releasing their full jailbreak (which will hopefully be COMPATIBLE with the 16 & 32 gig touches). I'm not too hyped about sdk..... Yet.

    It could go either way.

Microsoft charges for their Windows Mobile development tools
Palm charged for theirs (but did have a free version as well) last I used them
    Symbian's is free

Apple's existing SDKs and APIs are free, so that bodes well.

I'll be using it, if its free. Been playing with the toolchain that's already available - no reason why that would not continue to work even after the SDK is released so that's still an option as well.

i dont really care if the apps cost or not since we will all probably find a way to get them for free
