I bought a 4g 32gb a couple of days ago. I checked for light leaks and loose screen and it was all perfect.

After using it for a couple days, this is minor light leak on the screen where the volume buttons are.

However my biggest concern is the top left corner right of the screen above the volume buttons seems to be lifting up a little. I can feel that area heat up the most during heavy usage so I think the heat is causing the glue to fail and the screen to lift. It's not really that noticable but I can definately feel it when pressing down on that area.

So is that supposed to be normal after that area heats up for a while? I think this problem is also causing some minor light leakage.

I didn't know "screen looseness" was a problem? Can't seem to find it in the search. Can anyone redirect me to a thread about it?

The glue that holds the screen there, if it gets to hot will in a way "melt" and cause the screen to move up and down..it happens at the bottom right part of the screen on 3g models.

I think this is the only thread about it. It's most likely a problem that has 1 to 100000 chance to happen. At least it's not normal.

I just searched and this does seem like a number of people of this problem with the 3g.

So this may happen again even if I get another one?

Can everyone please look at the top left corner of their 4g and try pressing the corner to see if it sinks in a little?

I'm just hoping this is an isolated problem with mine so when I get a new one hopefully this will not be a problem.

    same

i think i have the same problem, if you press hard enough on the top of the screen. i cant describe what happens but its like touching an LCD computer screen/monitor and makes that area brighter. lol
it seems like the glass and the screen are not glued together properly, but i dont have light leaking out though.

i dont know if this is a major issue, so i dunno if i should replace it, because its not like i press hard on the screen anyways.

    EDIT:i found this http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1013444

i think everyones will have this problem
