Does every Samsung phone get new versions of Android (Considering this thing runs Froyo and not Gingerbread, I'm gonna say no) the second they're released? When you call customer support, will you get someone located somewhere other than a rural village in the middle of Taiwan?

This is all user experience. If I had all night, I'd get into user interface and OS.

But this is a cheap low end phone! You don't compare crap low end market phones to Apple updates and customer service. For what you pay...it's nice. And yes I know Samsung's update service is crap. Many Galaxy S phones are still stuck on 2.1. And will be stuck on 2.1 for ever. Samsung doesn't give two sh*ts about updating your phone.

You're the one who compared it to an Apple device in the first place. Or someone else, then you intervened.

I was gonna say all that...but you stole my thunder!
    Meanie!

Anyways...Just get an iPhone...and save yourself the trouble.
    Please

but you said plans start at 50 dollars for this phone.
    so.. no.
and like i said, and i will repeat, buying an iPhone and then getting a data plan and unlimited texting with minimum minutes (because who really talks on the phone a lot nowadays? even my mom texts.) is still cheaper than this.

either cheaper, or a little, tiny bit more.
point is, i would rather pay 200 dollars for a phone that is not only 200000 times better but is also half the price. and i would also rather have a dependable network with a simple plan to go along with my phone.

i still don't understand why somebody would willingly buy this phone.

The iPhone isn't on metro and Metro's plans are cheaper than AT&T. Having a phone worse than the iPhone doesn't mean sh*t when you can't even get the iPhone on the carrier to begin with.
