I want to make a suggestion. There are a lot of threads out there that are misleading due to their titles, for example,

    Title: 3.0 Jailbreak!

Body: Does anyone know when the jailbreak is going to be released?

It's stupid and annoying. Now, this is how I think this can be resolved.

    1. Make it so before being able to submit the thread, you have to choose whether or not it's a question, tutorial, information, news, review, etc.

    2. Make the beginning of every thread start like this, for example,
'[News] Michael Jackson dead at age 50.'
'[Information] iPhone Dev-Team has posted info on the iPhone 3G unlock.'
'[Tutorial] How to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS using Mac!'

*That should give you a jist of what I'm trying to get at.

This is purely a suggest and if implemented, it would be a great help to everyone here!

Thanks for your time and thank you for reading my suggestion.

Feel free to comment about your thoughts!

Most of the people who make those misleading titles are noobs or others who don't read anything before making the thread.

You missed one part of what I was saying. I said that it should be a requirement to check off what the thread is meant for. For example, [News], [Tutorial], [Information], [Review], etc.

Do you get what I mean now?

Oh, yeah, didn't see that part. The thread titles might still be misleading.

I guess Bgizzle could add in [Question].

[Reply] Not a half bad idea, I'd like to see it implemented for a bit, see how it works.

I can't really see it stopping this though:

[Help] What's the jailbreak I've been hearing about, what does it do???

At least we would know what the thread was about.

Thanks, I've been here since December of '07 and have always wanted to see that. Now, with all the threads and confusement, I've finally put in the idea and hope Bgizzle considers it as he's already doing a number of things to the design of the forum as it is.

Bgizzle, at least reply and give your opinion on this idea. I would really love to hear what you think about it and if you will possibly look into it.
