Digital zoom sucks compared to optical (obviously) so I wouldn't recommend getting any zoom application on the iPhone. Although I haven't used one, it's common knowledge that digital zoom isn't at all impressive. Love the avatar SumDaii.

Which one should I answer? No iPhone supports camera zoom out of the box. As Germany said, digital zoom sucks (well, better than nothing, perhaps) I'm sorry, that's the way it is.
Basically, Camera Zoom looks terrible when you're looking around (digital zoom sucks) however, it does something to optimise the photo. For example, here's a few photos I took on my recent trip to London.
Those shots do look pretty nice, but you should include the original picture, too. I'm considering this application now that it's $0.99, but would really like to see a before and after. EDIT: I just bought it out of curiosity before the sale ended.
with enough light, some pics can turn out well with the digital zoom. i bought the genius myself, and its pretty good for 99cents. some of the features i enjoy with the app is the "big button" feature that you can use for taking the typical "myspace pics" and the anti-shake feature. to each their own. and for me this app works well for me.
