hey does anyone remember that wallpaper app for 1.x.x that used your current wallpaper and streamed it to whoever else was using the app like a slideshow? Just wondering if anyone ever ported that to 2.x or 3.x or if there is anything like it compatible with 3.x...

    completely different.

Wallpaper.app was a program that streamed OTHER people's wallpaper to you and had options to save as or use as your own..

Bosspaper just changes your own wallpaper.. correct? I'm just looking at it now and that's all I see...

no, you can set mutiple wallpapers to transition, but you have to choose them.

it has almost no performanfce or battery impact though

I may still have it in my backup of the .apps of my iPod. Even if we did port it nobody would be using it since it is long gone and the database it long gone.

yeah but it's just the wallpaper you tell it to show right? The wallpaper.app I'm talking about streams other user current wallpaper to the app like a slide show.

you can just watch it forever and save wallpapers you like as they pop up...

it didnt really have a database either... it was current wallpaer on users ipods. For example... if you took a picture of yourself and used it as a background on your own ipod and then started the wallpaper.app, within a minute or so you would be streaming that picture to everybody using the app and you would see it cycle in the slideshow (or whatever) right away...

    pretty cool app

It did have a database to stream things from. It would pull your wallpaper out and share it while you streamed other peoples wallpapers and saved them to your camera roll. It was from the one app a day or somethings repo from the 1.1.x days if I'm not mistaken.
