Ok. The rules disscution thread was full of posts like
    or
Post here any improvement ideas for the rules/infraction methods/bans/ban tresholds/difference between intentional and accidental double-posting/difference between criticism and flame etc.

    RULES:
    >Be coherent (NOT: "rofl", "manthisisgreat", "k good1 bt i wuld liek t no wats up")
    >Bring logical arguments (NOT: "it is a good idea")
    >Don't flame
    >Don't spam (NOT: "badbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbadbad...badbad")
    >ALWAYS BRING AN IDEA (NOT: "wut's wrong w/ the rules their okay")

    BRING THE IDEAS

mine: points should expire after a certain amount of time because:
    >you WILL get permanently banned for spamming 2 years ago and now you flame.

    Point/strike expiry idea:
    >points should expire after 'x' months without warnings/infractions
    Value for 'x':
    >2 months
    >3 months
    >4 months
    >6 months
    >12 months (1 year)

I completely agree. i think that the points not expiring after a set amount of time is the biggest flaw in the new system.

Is it that difficult to follow the rules?

exactly what I was thinking, I've been on the forums for a long time, and I have ZERO infraction-thingies, and I'd be willing to bet Jpga has none too

Weren't you the one who was complaining about the new rules and saying you want to leave?

Also I think the new rules are fine, but I don't see what is wrong with bumping threads in general? I'm not complaining but can someone explain it to me?

I was complaining that certain* rules were a tad "iffsy" (funny word lol)

I appreciate how the mods are attempting to cut back on the silliness of the forums, and all the spam and double posts, etc...

although some of the mods' decisions I don't agree with, most I do...

It took me a while to realize that myself :/

    Finally, we have some sense.

I have never received an infraction, and I never have found it hard to follow the rules. Yes, even these new "super-duper strict" ones aren't hard to follow.

I did receive one way back when I first joined. You have seen my posts, I do pick at people a bit who need to be called out, and I state my opinion when I think people do something stupid, but I am careful of how I word things as to not be offensive. A little embarrassment never hurt anyone though.

please. This is not the rules agreement thread. This is supposed to be a thread where you post an idea to improve iptf.
On another note, I think we should have a "bump" button that will work only once.
Why this is a good idea:
    >people can bump their threads (they have a problem with their iPod)
    >people can't abuse it (the button can be pressed only once
    >people will bump their threads without double-posting
    RELATED IDEAS
    >PEOPLE CAN BUMMP THREADS ONLY IN TECH HELP SECTION
    >>because:
    >people don't actually need to bump threads in the OT
    >otherwise it will be a mess (the forum)
