When it says built-in-wi-fi, what exactly does that mean?? Do you still have to find a hotspot? With it being bluetooth now, what exactly more can you do?

    TIA

Wow. That post was extremely unhelpful and barely legible.

OP, yes. The iPod touch does have a built in 802.11b/g wifi chip. I'm pretty sure the new iPod touch even has an 802.11n-capable wifi chip. Bluetooth allows you to use stereo bluetooth headphones/speakers or play peer-to-peer games. Until developers release iBluetooth for jailbroken iDevices, the bluetooth is very limited.

Flaming obviously doesn't help the situation. Maybe you could have posted a link to Apple's website? A screenshot?
Anything would have been more useful than, "Are you Serious ??......"

No. Think about that for a second. Just becuase something can create a signal doesn't mean it is. You need a phone jack to create a connection of any sort, for one.

Two, Apple would never do this. The iPhone produces much more money than the iTouch. iPhone users pay each month, and the iPhone is more expensive, whilst iTouch users pay once. Obviously they wan't more iphone users, which is why they will not put certain features onto the iTouch (camera, "built in wifi", microphone (however you can purchase one), free service)

I doubt they EVER planned to put a camera on the iTouch, and even if they did, I can see why it was pulled.
