It doesn't fit the style of Apple. Its not easy to hold, slick or clean designed. Too many buttons.

If Samsung or Sony made it then...yeah whatever.

I agree. I could see a touchpad on the bezel or back or something like that, but I don't see Apple adding hard buttons to their devices any time soon.

Both aren't too pretty, but the latter one definately takes the cake on the ugliness scale.

First concept looks Apple-like, but doesn't look too comfortable in the hand since edges look a bit sharp to be grasped with one hand. Remember, iPad and Macbooks aren't made to be grasped with pressure on the edges while the iPod/iPone are. Apple would be one to curve that edge out rather than keep it sharp. Design itself isn't bad though, but is unchanged.

Second concept. It looks nice, some may call it sleek. It's not Apple-like. I can see HTC or Motorola doing that type of design though.

My concept: Make the front glass panel a single button. Remove the home button so you click the screen to go home, double click to open multi-tasking,etc. The design as a whole would look a lot more simplistic from the front view with just a speaker (for phone), camera, and screen.

    ^^^^^
But the Blackberry Storm already failed.....twice.

Seriously though, the image I made is designed to the form factor of a 3G/S but bigger and with an aluminum back like the iPad and Macbook Pros.

Thanks. I think they'd never take it just to prove a point though...
