The NEW installer

    so are we jailbreakers going to switch to 2.0 and develop a new installer or make our own firmware with the same frameworks? can we use both like have the kick butt games and then have customize summerboard?

    Nullriver is the one who created Installer. If they decide to move it to 2.0, then it'll happen. But there is no news and no evidence of that happening right now.

    As for custom firmware, I doubt that'll be discussed on iPod Touch Fans.

    Nullriver might be making an installer for 2.0. But I don't think it will be anytime soon. I would like to settle down with App Store before I even THINK about Jailbreaking again.
