The makeup of lack of ram.

    Ithink apple will clock the itouch 4 100mhz higher to makeup for the lack of ram.I think thats whAt apple has in there minds to not make the touch cost too much money.

    I just think that you cant expect the ipod to have as good specs as the iphone.

    the next year gen will inch closer to the iPhone. I mean look at the 2g camera and spec! We pretty much have or 'first iphone 2g' right here. from then on the ipod will improve from there.

    Well remember the first and second generation iPod touch had 128MB of ram. Thats more then what my blackberry has (96MB ram) so be glad with what you got.

    well over the years they have had the same performance specs so we expected it to continue.

    All im saying is that they might do what they did to the 2g to prevent future firmware issues or compatibality.
