This is just a little write up for the prices of the new models of ipods will be.

Think about this, with the ipod classic. (Due to the fact that the classic has the most models, therefore showing that the price really does drop as memory increases)

    iPod Classic 1g- 5GB $399
    iPod Classic 2g- 5GB $299
    iPod Classic 3g- 10GB $299
    iPod Classic 4g- 20GB $299
    iPod Classic 5g- 30GB $249
    iPod Classic 6g- 120GB $249

    * Note that this is with the LOWEST MEMORY model of each Generation

As we see, as memory increases price decreases, the price of flash memory will only decrease.

*Also Note that the first Classic was released late 2001 and the most recent model was released in 2008

But, then again, only time will tell

I think the new iPod Touch 3G is gonna Discontinue the 8GB version, and hopefully start with the 16GB for the same price the 8GB would have been

It may have not been necessary for you, but I find that people I know and also a few people on this forum are not sure, I just thought I would show an example of "Price vs Capacity." So yeah it was necessary

This is what will end up happening, as what happened with the 3G
