I tried to get the 3.0 software on my ipod touch 2g and after i got it i reconnected it and i said " iTunes could not connect "iPod Touch" an unknown error occurred (0xE800005D)."
So i read on some site to disconnect the ipod, hold the home button, connect the ipod while still holding the home button and it said on itunes that it was in recovery mode so i clicked restore and it said The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occured (1604).

    Can Someone please help me

If you are not a dev, I think you need a newer version of itunes installed, which the beta is only available to the devs
