I've had my ipod touch for 4 months now syncing was perfect. But then last week i crashed my computer and had to re install itunes and my music and videos. Everytime I sync, when it syncs about 500 mb of music or videos or more, The sync would stop all of a sudden

and the message "The iPod cannot be synced. The disk could not be read from or written to." would pop up 2-4 times. I dunno how to fix this can someone help me?

I had the same problem and searched eveywhere for an answer but to no avail (even apple's solution didn't work) so I took it to the mac store and they replaced it after seeing the error happen on their machine too.

Restore it before you take it to them (if jailbroken)

I am pretty sure I have a fix for this.

    Go into WnSCP/TotalCamnder/Etc.

    Navigate to:
    ~/var/root/Media/*

Delete the entire folder called "iTunes_Control"

Your computer will recognize a "new" ipod, you will keep all your apps...and hopefully solve the problem.

Rep me if it worked, PM me if it doesn't.

    Thanks,
    Ezra

Well, try deleting the iTunes_Control folder on your computer!

    You must enter DFU mode.
