Well, everyone here must be interested in technology. And personaly seeing what is being developed for our use in the future fascinates me. So I thought I would create a thread just so that we can share ideas, news and other stuff about amazing future technology.

    Here are some I found.

This would be quite nice i guess. Saves space and looks quiet nice. I dont know how this white design would fit into older houses. Think this would be one for very modern housing.

The computer like your brain kinda scares me. It's the first step to organic computing which will blow everything we have ever done in the past out of the water.

That sphere table thing is ridiculous, it isn't that much smaller when its all folded away, and it's useless because it has a rounded top, whereas if you had a normal table you could put things on it...

yeah they already have a robot, which identifies objects.

You put the object, say a toy car, in front of it.

Then you tell it that it is a toy car.

Then the next time you show it ANY toy car, it will speak back and tell you that it is a toy car.

They showed it a toy car, then showed it a Mini Cooper toy car.

The robot said "Maybe toy car" then the man told the robot that it was a Mini Cooper. Then the next time he showed it the mini cooper it said it was a mini cooper and all the other cars it still said Toy Car.

It also could work out if something was a chair. Then they put a loads of differnt variations of chairs in front of it and it still recognised them as chairs. Then they put a table in front of it which had the exact same dimentions as one of the chairs and it recognised it as a table.

    Kinda scary lol

I feel that if you put a human brain in a computer, give it the processing and computing power in most smart computers today, and give it the human characteristics of free will and choice, were screwed. We wont be able to control that and once it decides that they aren't in control, they will fight back. I know this sounds like some crazy Matrix shiz, but it's completely possible and makes sense.
