Ok guys, before I read online, I thought that the first 2 alpha of the serial number were MD. But I have read in a forum that there were CC models and C3 models. And that shows where the iPod was make from (according to macrumours) So I have found a thread at macrumours something similar so I decided to post one here.

My purporse is also to let all of us know where the iPod was made(CC or C3) and try to avoid them

I have C3, and have light leak ONLY.
This was covered with Belkin's skin, which in my opinion is the BEST so far.

No. The model numbers denote the model, market, size, official or third party retailer and whether it was engraved or not. The model numbers will only change if Apple modify the hardware somehow (as they did for the 8GB 2G from MB to MC)

    Mine's an MC544ZP (Apple online store, NZ, 32GB, non-engraved).
