download the file as usual and play it with another application that you can download called VLC Player

I hope you are a Windows user !

    1. Downlaod Vista Codec Package link http://tiny.cc/NGpyk
    2. Downlaod Windows Movie Maker link http://tiny.cc/UbXgB

    3. Install the Codec Package first than the Movie Maker !

    4. Get a trial version of Nero link http://tiny.cc/jGK3j

If you have your Keynote downlaoded go to

    C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\Podcasts\Apple Keynotes

Drop the Video out of the Folder and put in in your Windows Movie Maker than say "save film" and take the "normal movie format wmv", let the Video convert this takes some minutes !

after converted go to your Nero and click on "Burn Video Disk" drop your Video into Nero [wmv file from converting] and say "burn on dvd" !

Now your dvd player is able to play keynotes !

What time specifically will it be available. In June when the iphone was released you were able to stream it from you computer. If this happens again when will the event start and subsquently the steaming. Will I be able to watch any of it before school starts (8:50).

Nope, not usually. I'm always stuck on a couple of different websites (macrumors, gizmodo, tuaw, etc) watching updates with pictures from inside the room. Then, a couple of hours after the keynote, it's available to watch on Apple's website or download in iTunes
