Approaching? No. In the far future? Possibly.

    Good.

I hope Nokia can help WP7 gain a bit more traction... It's much better than Android in every way, except apps, but then it would get more once it has more users/marketshare and appeals to more developers.

Good. Android is has many stolen features from iOS. Such as the keyboard.

Android is Androids worst problem. Google let it get out of control. Maybe they will introduce something new and keep better control of it this time. Also hoping for WP7 to make some headway. Not something that appeals to me but it functions well and give users something different at a cheaper price.

Wow at everyone saying "Good." Monopolies are never good for either side, and you can't really say that WP7 can take Android's place right now. I actually strongly disagree with that analyst. With ICS, Android has finally "caught up" with iOS, and I can easily see a lot of iPhone customers having no problem switching. It now has that cleanliness and style that iOS used to have alone.

I have to agree that this is BS. Markets fluctuate all the time... Android is on its way down, Apple's on its up... There was a time when Android was up, and Apple was up. There was a time when Android was up and Apple was down (look at Q3 2010). No one said that Apple was on its way out then...

Android may be having a few rough patches needed to go through right now, but it's not dying anytime soon in my opinion.
