I get this error when I update apps.

    These apps are 100% LEGAL.
I obtained the apps through FAAD (Free App A Day) and OpenFeint Game Of The Week spotlight within the course of months.

    Any solutions?

Something tells me you're not telling the whole truth. That error basically translates to, "You didn't buy one (or more) of the apps. To update the app, you must purchase it!" (One or more of your apps trying to update is illegal).

Other reason why this could come up: You purchase the app legally. Got a refund from Apple for whatever reason (It is removed from your account). But you kept the app anyway (Illegal) and now there is an update for it.

Solutions, figure out what app it is by updating them one at a time, then purchase the app in question.

BTW, I see this error on my friends' iPod all the time (They haven't purchased a single app, yet they have BIA2, NOVA, ect.) The apps that don't update on these are illegal.

Actually this can happen when you download an app from one iTunes account and try to update it with another. if that app is free, jus tap "Buy" and the app will update and be added to your new account.

But, If you're only using one iTunes account, you definitely stole those apps.

My parents made an account and I split up.
Apps from that account are still here.

    My device is not JBed.

Log into the other account. Download it. If you don't have credentials to login to the other account, you're sharing software with another person... Also illegal. If you do, log in and update the unupdatable, and I apologize for saying you have illegal apps.
