There seems to be a large discrepancy for user's listed times for maximum usage on a full charge. Pre-jailbreak I was getting 4 to 4.5 hrs on Safari, now I get about 3 hrs if I'm lucky (1.1.1).

Categories for each of the available firmware version are:

    1 to 2 hrs
    2 to 3 hrs
    3 to 4 hrs
    4 to 5 hrs
    over 5 hrs

I've set out some ground rules (if possible) for submissions to this poll based on the following criteria:

1.Stated time is categorized for 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 firmware.

2.While not being used predominantly as a musicplayer.

3.All unused applications are fully disabled at the time of exit (press and hold the home button until the home screen appears).

    4.SSH/OpenSSH is off.

5.(Optional) Use Skylar's/Erica Sadun's Preferences app to monitor time used for an easy and accurate measurement.

6.Brightness is set to less than 50%

7.Shut off to sleep mode not full shutdown.

8.First prompt of a 20% battery level reached is ignored. Total time of use is established at the initial indication of a 10% battery level being reached.
