I have been using Sharepod to quickly add music to my iPod rather than waiting for iTunes to sync all my apps and back everything up, and it has been great until now. Recently, on sharepod I get this error-

System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: The database disk image is malformed

    SharePod 3.9.5, iPod Type IPhone_ITouch3

*the ITouch3 part is interesting because I have a 2g

If I try to access the music app on my iPod the app crashes and sends me back to the springboard. I would more than appreciate a solution other than a full iTunes restore, as I would lose a lot of saved data from my jailbreak.

Nope, a restore is in your near future my friend. That's what happens when you use 3rd party apps that screw with the iTunes database. And you can't just backup the database, because the way it works would make the songs not align to their name in the media player app.

Well Right now I am keeping my music in a random folder and playing it with iFile. Since only Music and Videos mess up (and I don't give a care about videos) I would rather do that then lose everything I would from what would be my second restore. As for using Sharepod at all, I couldn't deal with a 1-1 and a half hour sync every time.

Got a solution, syncing with Media Monkey fixed it, though now it seems that I have to sync with media monkey after anything else to show the changes I made. Whatever, it works.
