It seems almost everyone on this forum seems to be complaining about Cydra. Recently, I updated to 2.0 (jailbroken) to test out the new apps. Personally, I don't see what is wrong with it. Apart from it seeming to be more geared toward a more savy group of jailbreakers, I cannot see the difference between it and Installer. I have not yet to have on personal experience of the many complaints of failed installations, forced restores etc. They seem like total crap to me. It just seems like a silly bandwaggon, and I cannot see why people are so eagerly awaiting Cydra. Installer does not magically port all old apps to 2.0. So, Cydra haters, explain please.

whats a Cydra? oh wait, you mean cydia! at least spell it correctly. there are many people who like installer better because it's more comfortable for them, which i mean the gui.

I actually feel cydia is great. It's alot more intuitive, and everything loads up faster(in my opinion). Also, when you install an app, there's no respring.

    i think

installer = itunes and cydia = winamp

    in terms of complicated-ness

installer's easier to use and simpler and less cluttered (and looks better)

HAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAH!!! YOU don't even know how to spell it!!!! tryin' to tell him how to spell it when you don't even know...

anyways, on topic- i don't like it too much. I haven't had any failed installations, but I've been forced hard restart a couple times...plus I've downloaded everything worth downloading so...

    I concur

I have not had one problem and when I had 1.1.4 I had both installer and cydia they have small differences but that all what I have experienced so far
