Hi guys, does anyone know what that cleaning cloth that came with the touch is made of?

And, if anyone knows, what is the least flammable cloth that i can buy at a fabric store? (i.e. cotton, silk, wool, etc.)
    Thanks

I want to say the iPod cleaning cloth is microfiber, But I have no idea. As far as flammability goes, maybe something synthetic would be less likely to burn...

Unless you expose these cloths to an open flame I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Go to an optometrist and get a eyeglasses cleaning cloth.

As for what's the least flammable cloth... wool, I think, but then I'm not here because of my knowledge and interest in fabrics.

Ok, because I need to do an experiment so I was originally thinking about buying the iTouch cloth on bulk, but if wool is the least flammable, I'll go with that. Hmmm, do you guys think I could get a chunk of that cleaning cloth material from the cloth store?

i juggled flaming ipods for some period in my life. but they were nano's, never a thouch, c'mon guys, you know better.
and Hman i think you're getting into some bad stuff setting your ipod aflame. sure it's just a zippo now but soon you'll want to move up to a butane torch, and that butane gas... it really messes you up man.

If you wrap your iPod in wool, then set it on fire, I'm not offering any warranty, buddy boy.

Wool sort of sizzles on the edges but doesn't melt or immediately go *FOOM* up in flames. But it's not fire proof. And it might not be the best thing for polishing a pod.

Silicon, as used in lots of protectors, would be even more fireproof.
Or asbestos, if you don't mind a bit of cancer.
