    Who should use this guide?
You should use this guide only if you say yes to each of these questions:
1.: Do you have a jailbroken (if you don't know what jailbroken means, you are not jailbroken

Please Register or Log in to view images

) iPod Touch/iPhone running firmware 2.0 or higher?
    A: Yes
    B: No

2.: Do you have a Windows computer (Windows XP or later) with at least 1 USB (2.0 or better) port (this is optional, unless you can't connect to a WiFi network on your iDevice)?
    A: Yes
    B: No

3.: Do you consider yourself a novice when it comes to jailbroken iDevices(if you are not a novice and you read this guide, you will get really annoyed, really fast

    )?
    A: Yes
    B: No

Why would I want to SSH?
-To add themes to your device
-To do and add a lot of other stuff I can't think of right now

Is it worth the time and effort?
It depends on what you're doing, but you will think it is sooo cool when you're staring at your iDevice's file system on your computer, with no cords.

*If you cannot connect to a WiFi network on your iDevice, you will need an iDevice sync cable and a USB (2.0 or better) port on your computer

    The Guide
    On Your iDevice:

-Boot up your iDevice (if you have not already done so)
-Slide to unlock it (if you have not already done so)

    Support

Help! It gives me an error that says software caused connection abort!
A.: Make sure you typed the username, password, host name, and port number correctly.
B.: Are you using the No-WiFi fix on 3.0? Sorry, no 3.0 support for that fix ATM.
C.: Make sure you have OpenSSH installed.
D.: If you have SBSettings, make sure SSH is toggled to ON.
E.: Make sure your iPod is connected to the internet.

This guide looks pretty decent, nice job. I already know all I need to SSHing into my iPod, though.
