That little circle dot in the left hand corner on tha screen??

Can someone please help me out...Whenever I'm outside in the sunlight I see this little dot on the left had side top corner of the screen.( I dont mean Wifi Antennae, which is located at the back).

Could this dot be the Sensor that the Auto Brightness Setting uses to adjust the brightness of the screen automatically?

    Any Help would be appreciated.

I've never seen it before; guess I never paid attention to it. But that's why you see all those Silicone cases with the holes; so it can let in light.
