What are you sending the texts to? It may be the server you are trying to send it to, like Verizon wireless users maybe be 8881234567@VTEXT.com. Instead, I send it to 8881234567@teleflip.com.

It may be the gmail account or your mail settings.

well I type it in as teleflip and then it recognizes what the service provider is after u send it so it just adds the right ending for the service. But I do the same thing TNT u do and it wends me back exactly what I have sent before. Does gmail do this for anyone else or is it because gmail just does that? Please help me

Trust me, this is the best way. I have tried all of them. It goes right to your mailbox.

    It's gmail.

I've the same problem too, but does it really matter? Just delete it.

It's not like the person doesn't get the text

That definitively is gmail, thats their way of creating these conversations you see in the web-if. It's all the same if you poll your gmail-account with an non-mobile mail application.

You'll get used to it... ;-)
