Where can I get news about the Apple event on my phone when I'm going down the road? I know there are texting updates somewhere and I'll use Twitter if I have to, but where else?

    Thanks!!!

I did, but the problem was I use Google Voice to save money on texting and they don't support short codes.

yeah im not sure where else besides twitter. @Jon4lakers will most likely be covering it live with his feed too but other than twitter no ideas.

I'll probably be home September 1st and I'll be following news all day so if anyone wants, they can PM me the number you want me to text and I'll start a group text and send text updates to everyone.
