text documents on ipod touch with USB

    hi

    Yes! I habe a jailbroken 2G iPod

    But how I can put and read text files ( .txt, .doc... ) on my ipod
    with an USB connection ( WinSCP )?

    I'm pretty sure you can only add them in the Notes app manually. As in on the iPod itself.
    Big missing feature imo.

    WinSCP is wireless. You can do it with USB, but I can't remember how.
    You just need to find an app that reads .txt, you may need to convert to HTML for somethings to read it.

    There's an app on installer called DocReader or something like that, it allows you to browse your filesystem and read docs from it. You can put files into your iPod's filesystem via USB with WinSCP using iPhone Tunel Suite.
