    In the Contact Info Screen, next to the photo, there is text laid directly over the stripped background. (See image where it says "Kate Bell, Producer...".)

    Does anyone know how to do this?

    I've tried changing the backgroundColor, etc., in the TableViewCell but nothing worked. (I am using the Grouped TableView to get the background in the first place but they only show outside of the TableViewCell.)

    Thanks!

    That's a table header view.

    1. Create a UIView subclass.
    2. Add that UIView to your UITableViewController.
    3. Set your table's header view: self.tableView.tableHeader = yourUIView;

    Although, a UIView can be any UIView based object.

    That is a contact that comes up in the simulator. It's not a real person.
